Fernando embarked on his exhilarating soccer journey in Portugal, where he savoured remarkable triumphs such as clinching the U14 Division 1 Championship and securing a commendable second-place finish at the esteemed Danone Cup Portugal. Transitioning to Canada at the age of 16 only fueled his passion for the sport, ultimately nurturing a profound affection for coaching and scouting.

As a coach, Fernando epitomizes enthusiasm, diligence, and meticulous organization. He thrives on discovering innovative strategies and remains diligently attuned to the latest trends within the sport. Having completed numerous coaching and scouting courses, including the prestigious Canada Soccer C License and several PFSA certifications, Fernando boasts a well-rounded expertise in the intricacies of the game.

Throughout his coaching tenure, Fernando has relished the opportunity to work with diverse age groups, a journey that has honed his ability to adapt seamlessly to various coaching environments. Presently, he takes the reins of coaching the U10 and U14 competitive teams at CFA, all while actively participating in regional play within Ontario. With a wealth of experience and an unwavering commitment to excellence, Fernando emerges as a passionate and invaluable mentor for aspiring athletes.
